This is a Behaviour Management and Physical Intervention Course which is delivered by qualified teachers and sector experts in Physical Intervention which also meets the RRN standards.
Course Content
The 3 day course provides learners with the skills and knowledge to keep themselves and others safe in the working environment and includes::
Preventative Strategies, Understanding Behaviour, Conflict Management, The Law and Guidance, Physical Intervention, Trauma Informed/Restorative Practise, Reviewing and Recording Incidents.
The course provides a human rights based approach to managing behaviour and where necessary, change culture within organisations.
The training has a particular focus on helping staff to understand and communicate with people with specific difficulties such as Autism, Mental Health Issues and Dementia
How long is it ?
Through a scenario based workshop, this training can be adapted for staff working in healthcare, education, social care or security settings. It is a modular based system of behaviour management so the length of the course can be altered for different staff in accordance with your training needs.
